What is a Mental Health Assessment?
A mental health assessment is an evaluation of your current mental health state at one point in time. Our trained clinicians will assess your symptoms using standardized assessment measures along with their own clinical judgment to better understand your current care needs. They will ask a series of both open-ended and scaled questions about your symptoms (e.g., thoughts, feelings, eating, sleeping, relationships), family history, life experiences, and goals. From here, they will consider the most appropriate local resources available and create an individualized care plan report sent directly to you. It will then be up to you to decide what services you access and when. Our clinicians would be happy to support you with any referrals required.
